The Home of Self-Improvement and Wellbeing Guidance and Resources.

At The Wellness Collective, we believe that wellness is more than just a routine – it’s a journey of self-discovery, balance, and personal growth. Our mission is to empower individuals with the tools and resources they need to properly take care of their mind, body, and soul.

Why does Personal Growth Matter?

1. Build Self-Awareness

Understanding yourself is the foundation of personal growth. Being self-aware allows you to recognise your strengths, identify areas for improvement, and align your actions with your values. The more you know yourself, the more intentional you can be in creating your future.

2. Develop Resilience & Adaptability

Life is full of challenges, but a growth mindset helps you navigate setbacks with confidence. Personal development gives you the tools to bounce back from ‘failure’ , fear change less, and turn obstacles into opportunities.

3. Strengthen Mental Well-Being

Investing in personal growth helps you develop healthy habits, manage stress, and build emotional intelligence. Developing a deeper understanding of your emotions and thought patterns can open the door to inner peace and overall well-being.

4. Achieve Your Goals with Purpose

Goal-setting is an important part of self-improvement, but success comes from consistent action and alignment with your core values. By focusing on personal growth, you can set goals you care about and develop the discipline you need to achieve them.

Meet the Team

Hmm…What can we say about the ‘team’ ?

It might be better if we let them speak for themselves….

Maisie - The One That Created The Business

On a real note, I really am so passionate about self improvement and Personal Development. I never used to be. If you’d have met the version of me 3-5 years ago, you would never have expected this to be the business I started, or maybe even shocked at me starting a business full stop. I was prescribed my first Anti-Depressant when I was 13. By the age of 19, I had tried them all and hated every single one of them. I just could not understand why I was like this. Why was I so miserable all the time? Is this how I’m going to live the rest of my life?! I won’t go into all the details, but you can read about my story HERE if you’d like.

Anyways, there was a moment for me that felt pretty close to rock bottom. I’d had enough of feeling miserable. How can I be happy? How can I take control of my life? Is it even possible for me to be truly happy? I had no idea what I was going to do, but I knew that I couldn’t continue living the life I was living. It was Time to Welcome Change. So, that was the start of my growth journey. It got to a certain point where I realised that, in order to be happy, I needed to understand two things:

1. Myself. I needed to know who I am, why I was the way I was, and what worked for me in order to heal and create the version of life that I actually wanted to live. Which leads me to

2. This is My Life, and I am in full control of it. This is one that took a while for me to wrap my head around. Realising that my feelings, thoughts, and reactions where all my responsibility was pretty daunting, as they made up a huge proportion of my identity (Obviously). Once I started learning how to slowly rewire the parts that needed altering, my glass stopped being half empty, and started looking half full.

Maisie - The Life Design Consultant

I’ve always been the girl people go to for advice. Funnily enough, even throughout my chapters with depression and anxiety, I had this unique ability to be able to listen to people’s problems, and help them come up with the answer.

Sometimes, we don’t want, or need advice, we just want someone to listen to us rant and help us feel understood. I get that too.

I just KNOW when something, or someone, is off/not okay. I know when someone is having a hard time, feeling stressed, or feeling stuck. A lot of people have said that they feel like I know them more than they know themselves. Going on my own journey of self-discovery has not only helped me learn more about myself, it’s helped me learn more about humans as a whole: how we communicate, how we think, how our childhood/adolescence shapes the beliefs we have, and the way we see ourselves. I find it all so interesting, and I really want to help people be the best versions of themselves. If you’d have told me that I would experience this amount of joy and happiness in my life, I would have laughed at you, called you a liar and then gone back to bed to oversleep for another 4 hours.

Around 20% of the population say that they have a clear understanding of their purpose, and I can confidently say that I’m one of them. Helping people with their own journey’s, keeping them accountable and watching them grow truly makes me feel a sense of fulfilment I’ve never felt. I don’t want anybody to feel the way I used to feel, and if I can do something about that, you bet I’m going to!

I completely get that what works for me, potentially will not work for you. I don’t give you the answers and the solution – I give you the guidance and I ask you the right questions so that you can figure that out for yourself. Like I say – this is your life. You’re in control of it, not me!

Maisie - The One Who's 'Supposed' to be doing the social media.

Wait a minute. I’m supposed to be doing what?!

I’ve just finished doing this website, what more do you want from me?!

Does this promotion come with a pay rise?

Okay, I’m looking at the strategy as we speak. We’re talking motivation, mini podcasts, unqualified therapy sessions….and free coaching advice? WHAT. How is this a business if we’re giving all of this away for free?

Oh…our primary mission is to create a community of people wanting to live their best lives? Well, we best get looking for them people then!

Hey you – If you’re reading this then obviously you’re one of these people. Why else would you be spending time reading a meet the team section of a one woman band? Anyways, please do me a favour and give us a follow – my boss is going to be super upset (AKA me again) if the social media strategy isn’t clear and engaging. We don’t have much on their right now BUT that will change – I promise!

Click the button below and it will take you to the Insta – the TikTok is under the same name. Thanks so much, it will help me not get sacked.

Maisie - The One Overseeing Absolutely Everything

OH MY GOD THIS GIRL.

She is so sassy.

She’s crazy.

She’s funny.

She’s so incredibly kind.

And she’s kind of smart.

But there is one thing that is so true:

She was not born to be a hairdresser. Exhibit A proves this – see self cut fringe.

When The One Who Created This Business was in Therapy, she learnt about the PAC Model.

PAC: Parent, Adult, Child. The Child is the explorer, the one who’s always excited to try new things, the one with a positive perspective of life before the world has the chance to dull their sparkle. It’s the part of ourselves that we express the least as we grow up, as the Parent and Adult are too busy taking over. Life is about bringing the Child in us out more.

This is why she’s in charge.
